Beautifully presented classic dishes using fresh local produce
Good food has played a major part in The Outside Chance’s popularity and all of our dishes are cooked to order using the best locally sourced fresh products. Head Chef, Mark Cheney, has an excellent reputation across the county for his pride in cooking and is the mastermind behind our menu. We change our menus frequently as new produce comes into season, offering both sophisticated and informal dishes, such as the OC Burger. There is also a Daily Specials board. Sunday Lunches at the OC are legendary and roast lunches of beef, lamb, pork and chicken are offered throughout the year. We serve food daily from 12pm – 3pm and from 6pm – 9pm.
Try our hand-pulled local ales, Wadworth’s IPA and 6X, and a guest such as St. George & the Dragon. We also have an extensive wine list and offer a selection of fine coffees.

We strongly recommend booking to avoid disappointment, especially for Friday and Saturday nights. We advise booking Sunday lunches well in advance as these are also very popular.
